IBPOC Network Workshop - Cultivating Careers In-Person

The BCMA IBPOC Museum Professionals Network is excited to organize our first in-person workshop in the Cultivating Careers series. Join us for the day at Burnaby Village Museum as we're trained in trauma-informed practice, guided through the Indigenous learning spaces at the village, and more. The workshop schedule and details can be found below at the link below. As always, IBPOC Network sessions are regarded as accountable spaces for all folks who identify as IBPOC museum, heritage, gallery, and cultural professionals/volunteers/students. Please come to this space ready to respect the diverse perspectives and experiences that are shared, and open to building peer support networks with each other. Date: Monday, May 6, 2024 Time: 10:30 am - 5:00 pm Location: Burnaby Village Museum, 6501 Deer Lake Ave., Burnaby Cost: $40.00 (includes lunch) Please note, this session is specifically for cultural professionals and volunteers who identify as Indigenous, Black, or a Person of Colour. Thank you for respecting this affinity space. Learn more about IBPOC Network programming on our website.
