British Columbia | Canada 150
On January 16, 2017 the Province of British Columbia announced British Columbia | Canada 150: Celebrating B.C. Communities and their Contributions to Canada, a new funding program designed to invest $7.6 million in legacy, culture and heritage projects in communities throughout the province as part of the 150 anniversary of Canada’s confederation.
On January 16, 2017 the Province of British Columbia announced British Columbia | Canada 150: Celebrating B.C. Communities and their Contributions to Canada, a new funding program designed to invest $7.6 million in legacy, culture and heritage projects in communities throughout the province as part of the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation. The BC Museums Association was honoured to administer this grant on behalf of the Province of British Columbia, with the support of Heritage BC.
We received an overwhelming response to this exciting grant opportunity. We thank everyone for their application to the program and for the work you are doing to honour our province’s history and culture:

- The total value of requests amounted to $24,335,311
