Grant Writing 101 - Theory and Practice
In this seven-session online workshop, Grant Writing 101 will introduce you to the theory and practice of writing grants and communicating organizational impact in the non-profit sector. By the end of this virtual workshop, you will learn how to focus your messages, practice a number of common grant writing tasks, and develop a mini-grant revenue development plan.
Dates: June 24th, July, 8th, July 22nd, August 5th, August 19th, September 2nd, September 16th from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Cost: $250 for BCMA members, $300 for non-members

Workshop Objectives: At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1) Understand the fundamentals clearly and effectively communicating with a grant review committee
2) Feel more confident in writing clear, compelling, successful grants
3) Create a personalized mini-grant revenue plan with key dates, deliverables, and objectives.
4) Receive feedback on past grant applications or writing samples.
