Tea and Talk On The Road - Nanaimo

The BCMA IBPOC Museum Professionals Network is excited to bring back in-person Tea and Talk sessions in 2024! Our fourth stop will be in Nanaimo at the Nanaimo Art Gallery. IBPOC Network sessions are regarded as accountable spaces for all folks who identify as IBPOC museum, heritage, gallery, and cultural professionals/volunteers/students. Please come to this space ready to respect the diverse perspectives and experiences that are shared, and open to building peer support networks with each other. Date: Tuesday May 28, 2024 Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Location: Nanaimo Art Gallery, 150 Commercial Street, Nanaimo, BC. Cost: Free (registration encouraged) Please note, this session is specifically for cultural professionals and volunteers who identify as Indigenous, Black, or a Person of Colour.
