BCMA Webinar- Financial Sustainability Week: The MICE Market of Corporate Events

September 17, 2021

Join the BCMA and Cynthia Klaassen, sector consultant and previous Manager and Director at Studio Bell to learn how to host business and corporate events using the MICE market. The MICE market is comprised of four areas of activity: Meetings may be hosted by local businesses, associations, municipalities, or meeting planners Incentives can leverage a site’s existing activities and may be paired with a meeting Conferences could be hosted on-site with some creative set-up, or as a reception Exhibitions may be possible if space and time permit This session will review each of these four areas and inspire participants to consider the adaptability of their site. Cynthia will take participants through making an inventory of their current resources, preparing a high-level environmental scan to assess local business, developing a business plan, and sharing some of the collateral and documentation required to implement a robust venue rental program

BCMA’s Financial Sustainability week is sponsored by the First West Credit Union, offering sophisticated solutions for unique needs! Learn more about our sponsors.
