BCMA Workshop: Tools for Trying Times - Navigating Conflict Through Dialogue
Tuesday August 11th and 25th
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Zoom
Psychological wellness in the workplace is often framed as individual resilience or the absence of problems, but it is deeply shaped by how organizations engage with difference, conflict, and resistance. It is strengthened not only through policies and individual practices, but through dialogue, relationships, and the ability to work constructively through challenging situations. When people have meaningful opportunities to speak, listen, and engage across differences, the conditions for belonging, plurality, and collective wellbeing are strengthened.
This is especially important in museums, where complex pressures, emotional labour, and competing priorities are common, and where the silencing or avoidance of conflict can contribute to burnout and disconnection.
