Cultivating Careers: Building Connection, Capacity, and Choice Through Conflict
Cultivating Careers is back for 2025!
In this professional development workshop, facilitator Madison Tardif presents a third session in our conflict series. In 2023, many of you joined us for Stepping Courageously Through Conflict and Championing Conflict Through Practice, where we learned how to navigate difficult conversations in the workplace.
In this workshop, we'll learn how to shift conversations from debate to dialogue, move away from relying on trauma responses, and meet our psychological needs using self-determination theory. You do not need to have attended past sessions to join us for this one; however, to get the most out of this session, we do recommend viewing recordings of the past two sessions on our website.
Please note that this workshop is open to anyone who works or volunteers in arts and culture that identifies as Indigenous, Black, a Person of Colour, or racialized. Due to budget constraints this year, the IBPOC Network can only offer one online workshop at this time, and Madison Tardif is graciously facilitating it for free as a gift to our community. She may try out new learning methods during the session as a result (with your consent). Thank you for supporting this affinity space, and learning with us!
