BCMA Workshop: Safety+ De-escalation and Harm Reduction - Community Care in Action with Vines Art Society

Wednesday, April 2nd & 9th 2025 10:00 am – 12:00 pm PT Join the BCMA and Vines Art Society for a two-part online workshop series on harm reduction and de-escalation by and for people working in cultural spaces. This workshop will provide tools to respond to crisis situations involving community members and patrons experiencing emergencies, particularly those relating to mental health crises and drug use. We will provide workers with the knowledge and tools to assess and respond to crises while feeling safe and empowered. This workshop is a two-part series and will be held over Zoom.
