Tea and Talk On The Road - Prince George (#2)

The IBPOC Network and 2SLGBTQIA+ Network are excited to join together for a joint Tea and Talk session in Prince George at Omineca Arts Centre! At this stop, we'll be hosting three Tea and Talks: this is the registration page for session #2 of 3. Session #2 will be a special session for two BCMA Networks to come together - the IBPOC Network and the 2SLGBTQIA+ Network! These sessions are part of our annual BCMA Gathering, and are open to both gathering attendees and folks who live in the area. This session is regarded as an accountable space for all folks who identify as IBPOC and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ museum, heritage, gallery, and cultural professionals/volunteers/students. Hosting a joint network event is intended as a way to celebrate and hold space for intersectionalities of identity and fill gaps in this type of programming - all who identify as IBPOC and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ are welcome! Please come to this space ready to respect the diverse perspectives and experiences that are shared, and open to building peer support networks with each other. Date: Thursday September 26, 2024 Time: 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm Location: 369 Victoria Avenue, Prince George. Cost: Free (registration encouraged) You do not have to be a BCMA member to register for this event. Registration is not required but does help our team plan for dietary and accessibility needs.
