Tea and Talk On the Road - Burnaby

The BCMA IBPOC Museum Professionals Network is excited to bring back in-person Tea and Talk sessions in 2024! Our sixth stop will be in Burnaby at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre. IBPOC Network sessions are regarded as accountable spaces for all folks who identify as IBPOC museum, heritage, gallery, and cultural professionals/volunteers/students. Please come to this space ready to respect the diverse perspectives and experiences that are shared, and open to building peer support networks with each other. **This session takes place on the same day as the museum's summer farmer's market! Arrive before the Tea and Talk to shop and meet the local vendors. Tea and Talk On the Road - Burnaby Date: Sunday June 23, 2024 Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Location: Nikkei National Museum, 6688 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby Cost: Free (registration encouraged) Please note, this session is specifically for cultural professionals and volunteers who identify as Indigenous, Black, or a Person of Colour.
