IBPOC Tea and Talk: Mentorship Edition
Join us for a special mentorship edition of our monthly online IBPOC Tea and Talk!
Rebecca Hass (Huuputh Uksupe/Grandmother Moon Woman- Georgian Bay Metis/mixed European) will join us as guest mentor on Tuesday, October 22 from 12-1pm (PST).
Rebecca is the Director of Engagement and New Works at Pacific Opera Victoria. She is also a well-known creative living coach and mentor to singers and storytellers across Canada, as well as an opera singer herself. During the session, she'll share a bit about her life and varied career path, including how she transitioned from being a full time artist to working in arts administration.
Rebecca is particularly passionate about giving back to her community, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have her join us for this special session. If you have any questions for her about career paths or how to move across sectors, bring them to this Tea and Talk!
This session is free, informal, and open to any IBPOC folks who are involved in or interested in joining the arts and culture sectors. To join us, head to the Tea and Talk homepage on the day of, and click the "join here" button in the green square.
*Please note that this session is specifically for folks who identify as Indigenous, Black, a Person of Colour, or racialized. Thank you for respecting and supporting our affinity space.*
