BCMA Podcast: Koy and Leia Discuss Decolonization, Repatriation and Allyship Resources

June 21, 2021

Koy Tayler and Leia Patterson, the BCMA’s Indigenous Engagement team, discuss some key decolonization, repatriation, and allyship resources for non-Indigenous museums and heritage organizations. Follow the discussion by reading the resources posted to our National Indigenous Peoples Day post on the website, and commit to using your new knowledge to inform changes in your professional life.

*At the time of recording, the Canadian Senate had not passed federal legislation to implement UNDRIP, but that has since changed! The Senate passed the bill on June 16th, just days after we recorded it!
