BCMA Webinar: Human Rights in BC: 2SLGBTQIA+ rights under the BC Human Rights Code
Queer folks in the cultural sector continue to face discrimination in their workplaces. Join the BCMA's 2SLGBTQIA+ Network and lawyer Alison Moore from the BC Human Rights Clinic to learn more about your rights. This presentation will explain what constitutes discrimination under the BC Human Rights Code, with a focus on discrimination against queer people. It will also provide an overview of the BC Human Rights Tribunal’s process.
*Please note that this session is only open to folks who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. We thank you for respecting this affinity space! If you are seeking to learn more about discrimination and the Human Rights Code, consider joining our webinar with Alison on June 26, which is free for anyone to attend.
